Company Highlight

Tell us a little bit about your background and role at Kevel.

I will be celebrating 4 years with Kevel in the fall. I started back when we were still Adzerk. I have always been in a sales role as the company has evolved, and I have seen many changes and pivots throughout the years.

My official job title is ‘Senior Enterprise Account Executive’. I primarily partner with retail media, travel, and food & beverage accounts to determine if Kevel is a good fit to solve and scale their business needs. I collaborate with these companies to find unique ways to monetize their site whether through sponsored listings, native ads, or internal content promotion, etc. By building ad units we are able to help take their business to the next level and ensure a positive user experience for their site visitors while helping to drive revenue.

Outside of sales, one of my biggest passions is bringing people together. Even though we are a remote first organization, I love getting involved with organizing company socials and in-person events. I feel as if I’m in my element whilst representing Kevel and networking at the various industry events and conferences that we attend throughout the year.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

I really enjoy the variety of what we do on a day to day basis. No two conversations with prospects or clients are the same. We work with a variety of companies ranging from start-ups to enterprise level, and each company brings unique challenges which makes my job exciting and fun every day! It's so cool to work with them now, watch them grow, and be able to look back when they are hugely successful and say that ‘I helped them get there!’

What do you love most about working at Kevel?

I love the voice that Kevel gives me, and I feel like I have a seat at the table. I feel like the ideas that I suggest and the things that I say have an impact on where we are going as a company and how we do things -- not only from a big picture perspective but from a sales process standpoint as well. I feel so valued as a team member and a thought leader. I also think our sales culture overall is so unique -- you’re more than just a revenue generator. It’s not a cut throat environment - we’re like a big close family.

Which Kevel company value resonates with you the most?

Delighting our customers. We bend over backwards to make sure we provide an incredible experience for them. You know, I always say in my demos that my job is to make sure it’s a win-win for everybody and I believe that we pride ourselves on delivering a unique experience for our customers.

What advice would you give to someone who is joining Kevel?

Learn everything you can about the world of adtech! Be open minded, curious and receptive to new ideas and information. When I started I came from a different industry and needed to learn quickly but we have an incredible pool of resources available. I am surrounded by extraordinarily talented people at Kevel. Our engineers continuously blow my mind with their knowledge!

Olver, a gorgeous French bulldog

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?

My French bulldog, Oliver. He lays around all day and just gets treats, kisses, snuggles and lays in the sun. Like what a life to live!
