Nikki is located in Atlanta, Georgia in the US!
I’m passionate about my role here at Kevel for many reasons, but I think the main reason is due to me simply being passionate about our people - their motivations, their behaviors, their success stories, their greatest achievements but also their failures and how those shaped who they are today.
I think one of the most rewarding parts of being in recruitment is when you find the perfect position for a candidate and it changes their life, not only for their career path but for many other reasons. I’ve placed people in positions where they get to re-invent themselves and feel renewed and valued in a whole new way. There is nothing more rewarding than that!
I think something that is really unique about Kevel is that even though we are a remote - first organization spanning across 4 main countries, we’ve been able to build a very fun, transparent, collaborative, and nimble team. We are agile, progressive, and adaptable. We aren’t afraid to try new things or rethink strategies, processes, and approaches.
We have a purpose-driven culture that is people-first and rooted in flexibility, self-responsibility and autonomy. We want people who are proud to work here and not only want to better themselves but also see Kevel succeed. Our employees are trusted to have ownership over their work and they have the individual power to drive results.
We have some really incredible, just good hearted people at Kevel, and we are committed to promoting a culture of respect where everyone feels accepted, valued and has a sense of belonging.
I love to travel!
I truly believe in the quote, “travel is the only thing you spend money on that makes you richer.” I think traveling is the best way to gain new experiences and enrich your knowledge. You’re able to explore a variety of cultures and learn about how others around the world live, their traditions, history, language, arts, etc.
I think if I wasn’t in this career, just based on my passion for traveling, I could see myself being a travel blogger!
I’ve always wanted to learn how to speak Italian! My grandparents were from Italy so I’m half Italian, and think it is just one of the most beautiful languages in the world.
