CareDash makes a great sponsored listings platform even better using Kevel’s APIs
CareDash is a review site for doctors, therapists, and hospitals — and the world’s fastest growing healthcare review website. In order to fuel growth, CareDash built a homegrown ad platform for inserting sponsored doctor listings into search results.
While the ad product was performing well, they knew they could drive additional revenue if they added features to it — such as more granular targeting and first-party data. CareDash, however, realized that building these features from scratch would be expensive and time-consuming.
So CareDash turned to Kevel’s APIs to easily augment their homegrown ad platform. In less time than doing it from scratch, CareDash integrated the new targeting features and ad units they wanted, which helped increase their overall ad revenue.
Using Kevel, CareDash added in more granular targeting around search terms, context, and geodistance — leading to better user experiences, higher click-through-rates, and more revenue.
Working with Kevel was the right decision. They allowed us to scale our sponsored doctor listings platform, without needing to hire or maintain a large tech team.

Their Kevel-powered sponsored listings and native ads are white-labeled and the decisions are requested server-side — giving CareDash control over how the content is displayed.
Having access to Kevel’s UI and Management APIs makes it easy for CareDash to set up campaigns and manage their sponsored listings. This automation ensures the CareDash team serves current listings based on their targeting parameters.
With Kevel, CareDash also integrated native ads into the browsing experience. These direct-sold ads blend into the site and appear only in relevant spots — such as this promotion when one is browsing eye care centers in Minneapolis.
